Björn Jónsson and Stefanía Sigurðardóttir live in Vorsabær 2. They have three children, Margrét, Jón Emil and Sigurbjörg Bára. Vorsabær 2 is situated in South of Iceland, about 80 kilometres from Reykjavík. The farm is located very close to the mountain Vörðufell and belongs to Skeiðahreppur. Apart from the horses there are afew cows as well as about 40 sheep and 10 goats in Vorsabaer 2. Stefania and Bjorn studied in the Agricultural College in Hvanneyri, Björn is also a member of the Icelandic horse-trainer-association (FT). Both have been participating in riding courses held by known riding instructors.
In 2008 a new sheep barn and an indoor riding arena of 16x42m were built in Vorsabaer 2. One years later a new horse stable for 25 horses and 15 young horses was built. In the stable is a nice livingroom and other modern facilities. Apart from all these new buldings there is a new 250 m oval track outside the stable.
During the years a lot of youngsters from foreign countries have worked in Vorsabaer 2 both indoors and outdoors. At the same time they have improved their skills with horses as well as gained new experiences.
